Plot: An adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's novel of the same name. The film details a whacky search for the "American Dream", by Thompson and his crazed, Samoan lawyer. Fueled by the massive amount of drugs they purchased with an advance from a magazine to cover a sporting event in Vegas; they set out in the Red Shark. Encountering police, reporters, gamblers, racers, and hitchhikers; they search for some undefinable thing know only as the "American Dream" and find fear, loathing and hilarious adventures into the dementia of the modern American West.

često se zna vidjeti da dost ljudi jamra kako su filmske adaptacije knjiga uvijek jalave, ali ovo apsolutno pobija to.
riječ je o fantastičnoj adaptaciji koju sam pogledala garant 5x prije samog čitanja knjige, a ona me pak jednako toliko oduševila.

i jedno i drugu toplo preporučam!

Meni čisto solidan film, niš specijalno, al može proći.
But, you know, I knew something must be rotten in Denmark. There was no way you could like me that much. Man, I can't tell you how relieved I was when you took off your dress, you... you didn't have a dick.

ovo moram definitivno opet pogledati, prvi put nije ostavio bas neki dojam..

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) - Puno bolji dojam nego prvi put, prelud film, orginalan, možda je malo naporno što prebrzo preskače s događaja na događaj, ali to nekako dobro sjeda u svu tu zbrzanost i hiperaktivnost likova na drogama. - 8/10

Baš tako. Pogledao sam film jedno 30 puta i uvijek primjetim nešto novo. Knjigu sam pročitao i više puta nego sam film gledao. Kod mene je bilo da sam prvo pogledao film, a onda pročitao knjigu... :prayer: :prayer: :supz:

Zanimljivo je kako je Terry uspio u taj film ubaciti i neke sitne detalje iz knjige koji su mogli bez toga, ali drago mi je da ih je ubacio i da su odlično ispale.

Film je od početka legendaran...odmah kad krene od :
"- We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like - I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive."

pa kad stanu Tobey Maguireu a oni nadrogirani... :rolleyes: :partyman:

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) - Gilliamov kultni film sa Deppom i Del Torom i o tome kako idu put u Las Vegas pritom se ubijaju sa različitim vrstama droge. Cijelo vrijeme doživljavaju trip, paranoju i to nam redatelj odlično pokazuje s različitim kutevima kamere i ima se dojam kao da ste u samom liku. Neke scene su nezaboravne, a likovi takve genijalne karikature.
