No, ovo nije prvi puta da Donnie Yen tumači taj lik. On je naime već igrao Chen Zhena u Tv seriji "Fist of Fury" iz 1995. godine. A također valja spomenuti kako je snimljeno još nekoliko Tv serija sa Chen Zhenom kao gl. junakom.
Režije ovog filma se prihvatio Andrew Lau, najpoznatiji po "Infernal Affairs" trilogiji, a koreografiju i režiju akcijskih/borilačkih sekvenci potpisuje sam Yen, dok scenarij pak potpisuje Gordon Chan koji je ujedno napisao i režirao već spomenuti remake "Fist of Legend". Uz Yean od poznatijih imena/lica u filmu će još nastupati i Qi Shu te Anthony Wong. Datum Kineske premjere je predviđen za 1. Listopad 2010. godine.

Seven years later, a wealthy entrepreneur called Koo returns from abroad and makes a grand entrance on the Shanghai social scene by befriending the notorious mafia boss of the city. This mysterious man is none other than Chen Zhen in disguise who dwells in a world of nefarious means in order to infiltrate the criminal empire. He soon discovers a clandestine collusion between the mafia and the Japanese. Disguised as a caped crusader at night, Chen sets out to dismantle with his martial arts skill the evil collusion that plagues the country. One of his foremost missions is to ferret out the assassination list prepared by the Japanese.
