O filmu:
Dead Ringers is a 1988 psychological drama film starring Jeremy Irons in a dual role as identical twin gynecologists. Director David Cronenberg co-wrote the screenplay with Norman Snider; their script was based on the novel Twins by Bari Wood and Jack Geasland. The film is very loosely based on the lives of Stewart and Cyril Marcus.

Plot:
The Mantle brothers are both doctors - both gynecologists - and identical twins. Mentally however, one of them is more confident than the other, and always manages to seduce the women he meets. When he's tired of his current partner, she is passed on to the other brother - without her knowing. Everything runs smoothly, until an actress visits their clinic, and the shy brother is the first to fall in love. Will they be able to 'share' her?

Izuzetno dobra i uznemirujuća drama te jedan od najupečatljivih filmova Davida Cronenberga, veoma emotivna gluma Jeremya Ironsa te cijeli prikaz kako jedna osoba može uništiti jedno zajedništvo, idilu i sreću uz klasične efekte i motive koje Cronenberg gotovo uvijek koristi, samo što to ovdje nije toliko naglašeno već je u igri prvenstveno sjajna i neobična priča, odlična karakterizacija likova i uvjerljiva gluma, a tek kraj koji je poprilično zastrašujuć. Definitivna preporuka za pogledati! 8)

Odlično mi upao maraton da pogledam neke stvari koje sam davno trebala :klapklap:

uffff, brutala film. jednom nabasao mortus pijan na tv programu. i pogledao do kraja.super dočarano sve to. priča, gloomy atmosfera. one neke scene. ma užas e. ovo je za mene horor... vrijedi pogledati :)

jeremy, joj kak se samo razvalio u sarajevu kad je bio :mrgreen:
