izgleda jako dobro i zanimljivo, ali neki dijelovi previše vuku na Lords of rings...

To onda moš reć za apsolutno svaki fantasy s čudovišnim rasama. Ipak je LOTR high fantasy, dok je ovo čisti sword and sorcery.
I think human consciousness, is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware, nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself, we are creatures that should not exist by natural law.

nisam mislio na likove i stvorenja, nego na specijalne efekte i sličnosti kao onaj lik s vatrenim mačem...

Znan na šta si mislija, i to su jednostavno elementi svakog fantasyja, a to šta govoriš za efekte, neću niti komentirat. :lol:

Još dve recenzije...jedna sa Toronto International Film Festivala...

TIFF: Solomon Kane
Of course, SOLOMON KANE isn’t perfect. The limited budget is painfully evident toward the end, with a bit of dodgy CGI in the final showdown. The film also comes to a bit of an abrupt end unnecessarily resolving Kane’s ongoing issues with the Devil- which should have been left for future installments. Still, I’d say that overall this was a pretty tight fantasy flick- and throughout the film, I kept thinking to myself that this is what the similarly themed VAN HELSING should have been. Hopefully, if there’s ever a SOLOMON KANE 2, director Michael J. Bassett will get a little more money to play with.

RATING: 7.5/10

FANTASTIC FEST 09: Review of Solomon Kane
I have to preface this review by saying that I am not a fan of fantasy. I've clearly said that repeatedly in the pages here of Quiet Earth. Conan fighting trolls just doesn't do it for me. Yes, I hate fantasy. And while Bassett's Solomon Kane follows a paper thin storyline from scriptwriting 101, has far too rapid and sometimes terrible editing, and has no replayability, this film was pretty darn good. (How's that for a dvd cover quote?) I know our managing editor agentorange will be happy to hear that as he's been following this one forever.

Rating: 7 out of 10

Iskreno se nadam da će ovo i kod nas igrati u kinima...iako opet...nekako sumnjam u to.

Zaboravih nadodati da su vijerno prenjele ugođaj i scenografiju ne samo iz stripa, nego iz knjiga.

Koliko čujem film bi se mogao pojaviti na DVD-u početkom ožujka 8možda čak i polovicom veljače).

Uff ovo cekam odavno nadam se da uskoro izlazi DVD rip posto kod mene u kinima nece igrati sigurno :cry: :cry:
