Scenarist Larry Cohen očito jako voli telefone i mobitele...naime, nakon što je napisao scenarije za filmove kao što su "Phone Booth" i "Cellular", "Messages Deleted" mu je već treći film koji se bavi jednim od tih sredstava komunikacije. Režije se prihvatio redatelj debitant, Rob Cowan, inače producnet koji ima iza sebe naslove kao što su "The Net", "Righteous Kill", "Home of the Brave" i mnogi drugi, a neke od glavnih uloga igraju Matthew Lillard ("Scooby Doo 1 & 2", "Thir13en Ghosts") i Deborah Kara Unger ("The Hurricane", "Silent Hill").

A quivering voice begs to screenwriter, Joel Brandt, to pick up the phone on a message from his answering machine. Thinking it a prank, Joel deletes the message. The caller is found dead. Another caller leaves Joel a message; there is another murder...then another...then another. The killer has Joel's attention, and Joel has the attention of the police. Now the prime suspect in a series of murders, Joel discovers this psychotic killer has targeted him for a reason found within his body of work. Will Joel be able to re-write his ending, or be forced to pay the ultimate price?

Pojavio se i prvi trailer...izgleda zanimljivo...nadajmo se da se Larry Cohen nije izlizao sa svojim idejama...
