It appears that there may be some problems on the set of the now shooting X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I was not made aware of this until today when Hollywood Elsewhere and /Film brought it to light. The issue here seems to lie with the fact that Fox is trying to make the film a more kid friendly film by taking out the darker aspects of the film.

The rumor is that Gavin Hood was overseeing the building of a set that had a "dark, dinghy and somber side" to them. Then when the director left the set to go shoot something or to begin prepping things, Fox CEO Tim Rothman had the set completely repainted from top to bottom. How much of this is true I have no idea but honestly this has me a little on edge as well.

What I was hoping for out of this Wolverine film was something darker. I wanted to see Wolverine use his blades and cut people up. I wanted to see a more Rambo or The Punisher feel to it. One man taking on a whole army. Kicking ass and taking names. Hopefully this reminds just a rumor but with it looks like it is just another bad report from the set.
