Za one koji ne znaju ništa o ovom junaku:
"- Mandrake The Magician was a newspaper comics strip from the '30s. It's from the same period when The Phantom and Flash Gordon were created and owes a lot to pulp fiction of the time. Mandrake is one of the grandfathers of superheroes. I think this movie has the potential to be very good or amazingly bad. It really depends on whether the filmmakers have any love for the original material or whether it's just a hack assignment for them."

Meni je uvijek ostao u lijepom pamćenju za razliku od recimo The Phantoma (lijepa obleka i povijest)...
Uvijek sam ga rado čitao, pa mi je čak bio nekad i bolji od Flash Gordona (kojeg spašava SF tematika i razna čudovišta)...

on i Michael Clarke Duncan jedini padaju na pamet posto su obojca ogromni..
