After their teenage son is killed in a car crash, Paul (Andrew Sensenig) and Anne (Barbara Crampton) move to the quiet New England countryside to try to start a new life for themselves. But the grieving couple unknowingly becomes the prey of a family of vengeful spirits that reside in their new home, and before long they discover that the seemingly peaceful town they've moved into is hiding a terrifyingly dark secret. Now they must find a way to overcome their sorrow and fight back against both the living and dead as the malicious ghosts threaten to pull their souls - and the soul of their lost son - into hell with them.

Šefe, ovo bi trebao voljet. Film posvećen nikome drugome nego Fulciu. Kažu čisti hommage njemu.

Rotten ga obožava, čak 92% na dosta recenzija. Izašao prije mjesec dana i čudi me da nitk nije ni vidio ovaj biser po svemu sudeći.

Ima 2-3 solidne jumpscare scene i to je to... jedan od onih filmova koji se po ničemu ne ističu, zaboraviš na njega čim ga pogledaš

ovo je veća posveta starijim hororima nego It Follows i svatko tko cijeni starije horore, svidjet će mu se. Priča kreće o jednom starijem paru koji je izgubio sina i uskoro njegova majka počinje osjećati prisutnost svojeg sina u kući. U međuvremenu dolaze njihovi prijatelji koji će provesti seansu. Polako saznajemo da je cijeli mali gradić prepun čudnih ljudi. Ima puno malih preokreta koji polako ubrzavaju radnju. Prva polovica je dosta spora, ali kad krene masakr

Ova gore slika u sredini (druga) je jedna od boljih i strašnijih scena u filmu zbog načina na koji je snimljena. Al baš se vidi utjecaj Fulcia. Pogotovo u drugom dijelu kad ne znaš ko pije, a ko plaća. I taj emotivan kraj dobro su to napravili.

Volio bih da su "bica" malo vise gore bila a ne samo sprzeni; i volio bih da su pokazali to " bozanstvo " koje je spavalo ispod kuce. I treca stvar, mislim da im ono nije bio sin na kraju nego da su ga i oni najebali; tj. 100% sam siguran i radi toga onakav kraj i zadnja recenica su brutalno dobri !

odlična atmosfera 70-tih, CGI solidan, dobrih jump scena, ali generalno nisam zadovoljan pričom, 6.5/10
p.s. ovog fejk Jack Nicholsona su s namjerom uzeli ili...?
