A struggling coach and teacher who has had to move around for different incidents in his career finally comes to one of the poorest cities in America: McFarland, California. Čisti feel good film o country crosu, utrci u kojoj se utrkuju više timova, a u jednom timu mora biti sedmoro natjecatelja. Kevin Costner glumi Jima White koji dolazi u McFarland, gradić gdje žive meksikanci i u toj školi okuplja tim mladih talenata. Ima nešto patetike, ali dobro dođe. Film snimljen po stvarnom događaju i koliko čitam dosta je točan. Costner dobar, i film je pozitiva.
