O filmu:
There's Something About Mary is a 1998 romantic comedy film, directed by the Farrelly brothers, Bobby and Peter. It stars Cameron Diaz, Matt Dillon and Ben Stiller, it is a combination of romantic comedy and gross-out film. The film was placed 27th in the American Film Institute's 100 Years, 100 Laughs: America's Funniest Movies (see the 100 Years Series), a list of the 100 funniest movies of the 20th century. In 2000, readers of Total Film magazine voted it the 4th greatest comedy film of all time. Cameron Diaz won a New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actress, a MTV Movie Award for Best Performance, a American Comedy Awards for Best Actress, a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Best Actress, she also received a Golden Globe Awards nomination for her performance (but lost to Gwyneth Paltrow).

Plot:
Ted was a geek in high school, who was going to go to the prom with one of the most popular girls in school, Mary. The prom date never happened, because Ted had a very unusual accident. Thirteen years later he realizes he is still in love with Mary, so he hires a private investigator to track her down. That investigator discovers he too may be in love with Mary, so he gives Ted some false information to keep him away from her. But soon Ted finds himself back into Mary's life, as we watch one funny scene after another.

Jako dobra romantična komedija, jedna mi je od omiljenih iz 90-tih.

Jedan od onih filmova koji mi sa svakim ponovnim gledanjem postaju progresivno lošiji.

Kultna scena u sobi za ispitivanje i zabuna autostoper/serijski ubojica.

Meni definitivno priča o arhitekturi te scena sa psom u kući.

Od svih likova, najjači mi je onaj Matta Dillona.
Uglavnom, slažem se s Drugsom po pitanju opetovanog gledanja.
S "Dumb & Dumber" mi je drukčije.

Slažem se definitivno za lika Matta Dillona, predobar lik, a što se tiče Dumb and Dumber, definitivno je daleko bolji od ovog filma, no i dalje mi je ovaj film nekako simpatičan i smiješan.

Dobra mi je scena kad mu kuki zaglavi u šlicu pa svi dođu to pogledat

ma ono iživljavanje na psu, totalno smo krepali od smijeha. Ima ono dobrih štoseva, makar je većinom riječ o vulgarnom humoru. A tek sperma umjesto gela. Ili završnica, baš da sjebe gledatelja.
