"The Apple & The Worm" je Danski animirani film redatelja i ko-scenarista Andersa Morgenthalera, najpoznatijeg po animiranom filmu sa igranim elementima "Princess" iz 2006. godine. Morgenthaler se ovoga puta ne bavi porno industrijom kao u slučaju filma "Princess" koji definitivno nije da djecu, već se ovaj puta odlučio okreuti upravo mlađim uzrastima i pozabaviti pričom o jabuci i njezinom crvu (lol, ovo čak zvući malo prverzno haha). Film je već bio prikazan u Rujnu na International Film Festival for Children and Youth u Copenhagenu, a u redovnu kino distribuciju što se Danske tiče, film kreće 30. Listopada 2009. godine.

The apple and the worm is the story of the premium apple Torben, who has one goal in life: To end the shiny apple shop in the supermarket Promised showcases. But Torbens dead straight road to success and recognition clouded when a busybody, but very lovable worm named Sylvia is living under Torbens perfect skin. And she has quite a few opinions about how things should go. Now forced to change course and to live side by side with the worm, Torben must realize that happiness is not necessarily measured in fame and admiration, and in meeting with nature's other, more or less curious existences Torben find new meaning in life.
