Daklem, riječ je Kanadskom ili Američkom (nisam siguran) niskobudžetnom filmu špijunske tematike, kao što se u ostalom i može zaključiti iz naslova. Ono što je posebno zanimljivo u cijeloj priči je to da budget filma je iznosio nekih 300-400$ a koji sudeći po traileri u teaseru izgleda izvrsno, baš profesionalno (we didn't really start out with budget. but we had about $300~400 in mind. that was for meals on some occasions. We just went in to locations and shot.). Glumci su svi redom glumili besplatno, te se snimanje zbog raspreda i suklađivanja termina sa glumcima i njihovim obvezama odužilo čak na godinu dana. Još nije poznato kada će se film prikazati i gdje, te kako će biti dostupan široj publici, ali i te informacije će biti dostupne u dogledno vrijeme...

With the advent of globalization and the rise of military operations around the globe, international "outsourcing" becomes a phenomenon. Private corporations regularly subcontract to third party companies to maximize profits; if global governments emulated the same concept in distributing covert operations, loyalties would crumble and financial incentives would triumph over honor. In "Spy", three spies are caught in the midst of a corrupt cover-up of a failed government program. Tensions run high as a malicious set-up turns the spies against one another - and with a group of skilled CIA operatives upon them, their only chance of survival depends on mutual trust in a race between uncovering the conspiracy and fighting for their lives.
