Naresuan follows the life and struggles of King Naresuan The Great. Naresuan, born in 1555, the son of King Maha Thammaracha was captured and taken to Pegu by Bayunnaung of Hongsawadee. Despite being held captive at Bayinnaung's main fort Naresuan was given a relatively free reign of the surrounding area. It was here that he would meet his best friend and future ally Boonthing.
