Edward Norton has responded to rumors the other week that he and Marvel Studios are in a dispute over the final cut of the upcoming "The Incredible Hulk".

Entertainment Weekly has published an interesting article which explains the situation in detail and also talks to Director Louis Leterrier about what happened.

According to Leterrier, he and his star hit it off beautifully, and there were no issues with Marvel while the movie was being shot. Afterwards however is when things turned sour - the key point is that Marvel wanted a faster, leaner movie (under 120 minutes and action packed). Letterier and Norton on the other hand wanted a 135 minute more contemplative and richer epic.

Marvel won the battle, but the secret of the dispute got out. As a result those involved are laying low, Norton declining interviews and others pointing the fingers of blame at whoever comes into view. Yet Norton apparently wants the film to be a hit, and has conceded that Marvel's cut, though not what he wanted, is more commercial than his.

Norton has released an official statement, saying in part:

"Every good movie gets forged through collaboration, and different ideas among people who are all committed and respect the validity of each other's opinions is the heart of filmmaking.

Regrettably, our healthy process, which is and should be a private matter, was misrepresented publicly as a 'dispute,' seized on by people looking for a good story, and has been distorted to such a degree that it risks distracting from the film itself, which Marvel, Universal and I refuse to let happen.

It has always been my firm conviction that films should speak for themselves... our focus has always been to deliver the Hulk that people have been waiting for and keep the worldwide love affair with the big green guy going strong."

BTW evo trailer bolje kvalitete...

http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal ... large.html
