I think human consciousness, is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware, nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself, we are creatures that should not exist by natural law.

Warner Bros. is laughing all the way to the bank with The Dark Knight. The film has once again proved in the box office that it is here, and its here to stay. On Friday the film grossed another $23.2 million to bring its eight day total to $261.8 million. An amazing feat that smashed the last record holder, Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest which had $214.6 million.
The Dark Knight is also setting itself up to break a couple more records in which it will no doubt smash. It could pass the $300 million mark in 10 days which is fast than current record holder Dead Man's Chest. The film is also on its way to become the highest grossing film in 2008 passing up Iron Man and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Could The Dark Knight become the highest grossing film of all time? Right now it is sitting at number 39 and in order to pass up Titantic which has $600 million it would have to double its box office. I do think it is possible especially with the amount of press the film is recieving. I have also heard many people say they are going to see the film multiple times in theater which is the kind of hype that surrounded Titanic. What Dark Knight also has is people have decided not to fight the crowds and to see it later. We will have to wait and see. Stick around for full box office numbers later.

Talk about a shocker. At the Terminator Comic Con Panel McG let it be known that Jonathon Nolan the writer of Dark Knight was the lead writer on the upcoming Terminator Salvation movie. Considering the fact he has never been mentioned on IMDB as one of the writers my response is.. wtf? Jonathon Nolan is the lead writer? How comes its not till now that hes getting credit?
For those of you who are Dark Knight fans this is just more good news for Terminator 4. It means we get alot more then splashy effects and top notch action. It should however come as no surprise Jonathon is involved since Christian Bale star of Dark Knight is also the star on this one. I am sure Bale is involved somehow on Jonathons involvement.
