Bill, a wealthy businessman, confronts his junkie daughter's drug-dealing boyfriend; in the ensuing argument, Bill kills him. Panic-stricken, he wanders the streets and eventually stops at a bar. ISPOD POVRŠINE AMERIČKOG FILMA 70-IH: PART THREE

Post by Michel » 25 Feb 2016, 22:09

On glumi ratnog veterana iz vijetnama, ali njega tek upoznajemo oko dvadesete minuta filma, a prije toga pratimo dva narkića, curu i dečka. Curu glumi prekrasna mlada Susan Surandon.

Jedna zanimljiva trivija.

"When Peter Boyle saw audience members cheering the violence in Joe, he refused to appear in any other film or television show that glorified violence. This included the role of Jimmy "Popeye" Doyle in The French Connection (1971). The role would earn Gene Hackman the Oscar for Best Actor. Boyle nevertheless played a ruthless gangster four years later in Crazy Joe and also appeared in the violent drama Taxi Driver."
