Plot: An artist in crisis is haunted by nightmares from the past in Ingmar Bergman's only horror film, which takes place on a windy island. During "the hour of the wolf" - between midnight and dawn - he tells his wife about his most painful memories.

drugi bergmanov film koji sam pogledala i samo mi je mrvicu ne toliko dobar ko Sedmi pečat.
atmosfera u ovome je daleko mračnija, jezivija i depresivnija, sam film je težak i tokom cijele radnje mami da se što više ostane posvećen njemu.
u pitanju je prikaz duševnih slabosti, a bergman u ekranizaciji takvog nečeg nikada nije iznevjerio.

Konfuzan i mracan, iako je prva polovica bila dosadnjikava dodje kao dobar uvod u sve ludilo...
