Storyline:
An alien (Klaatu) with his mighty robot (Gort) land their spacecraft on Cold War-era Earth just after the end of World War II. They bring an important message to the planet that Klaatu wishes to tell to representatives of all nations. However, communication turns out to be difficult, so, after learning something about the natives, Klaatu decides on an alternative approach.

zbog ovakvih filmova mi stari sf na momente nadmašuje jako voljeni klasični horor.
ja bih rekla da film ima sve - dobre efekte za to doba, tipične 'futurističke' kostime i napravice koji sve čine čarobnim, fantastičnu glazbenu podlogu, dobru priču i još bolju poruku.
forbidden planet mi je oduvijek nekako najljepši (joj te boje i zvukovi...) što se ovog tipa filmova tiče, ali ga ovaj nadmašuje onime što nosi u sebi, onim bitnijim, kak bi se reklo.

Definitivno izvrstan klasik!Vrh vrhova
