Captian Collier arrives in and English coastal town with his band of navy men to investigate reports of illegal smuggling and bootlegging, only to find that he must also investigate reports of "Marsh Phantoms," being said to ride on phantom horses through the marshes spreading terror to any who encounter them. The Captian suspects that the local vicar is hiding something as well.

Ja sam inače slab na hammerove filmove, ali ovaj mi spada negdje u prvih deset.

Avantura i drama sa elementima horrora zapravo.
Cisto dobar Hammer filmic za jednom pogledati. Kao sto rekoh, jako malo elemenata horrora, ali te dvije-tri scene su sasvim dobro napravljene i bas nekako jezive. Lokacija radnje je dosta dobra, kao i ugodaj. I naravno, uvijek odlican legendarni Cushing, po meni top 5 horror glumaca ikad. Sve ostalo, klasika za Hammer filmove-od radnje, glume, pa do jako predvidljivog twista;znaci solidno.
