The film stars Ruth Díaz and Javier Pereira as brothers Malena and Pablo who whilst travelling in Argentina, discover a diary that documents horrendous crimes committed by the author 20 years ago.
The night after the discovery, a family is killed following in an identical manner to one incidence in the diary. Now Malena and Pablo need to discover what is real and what isn't.
Something dead from the past, is now very much in the present.
