Storyline:
Three stories adapted from the work of Edgar Allen Poe. A man and his daughter are reunited, but the blame for the death of his wife hangs over them, unresolved. A derelict challenges the local wine-tasting champion to a competition, but finds the man's attention to his wife worthy of more dramatic action. A man dying and in great pain agrees to be hypnotized at the moment of death, with unexpected consequences.

kad se na popisu glumaca pronađu price, lorre, rathbone i lijepa joyce (rođena na današnji dan ), netko tko prati malo ovakve filmove bi morao ostati oduševljen ponudom!
nažalost, realizacija 3 priče u koje su umetnuti s ostatkom likova nije baš ispunila moja očekivanja. u usporedbi s 'twice told tales' ovo mi je nešto slabije ostvarenje. ko najbolju od 3 priče izdvojila bih 2., 'the black cat' zbog dosta zabavne verzije i skroz simpatično odglumljenih uloga. lorre je totalni vicmaher

Tales of Terror (1962) - prve dvije priče odlične, treća malo slabija, no cjelokupni dojam je ispao vrlo dobar. Price u tri različite uloge, vizualno lijep film, fina glazba, ostale uloge također odlične. - 8/10
