O filmu:
The Brood is a 1979 Canadian horror film written and directed by David Cronenberg, starring Oliver Reed, Samantha Eggar and Art Hindle. It was filmed in Toronto and Mississauga, Ontario. In 2004, one of its sequences was voted #78 among the "100 Scariest Movie Moments" by the Bravo Channel. The Brood was named 88th on the "Chicago Film Critics Association's 100 Scariest Movies of All-Time". The film was Cronenberg's first major success. A novelization was written by Richard Starks.

Plot:
A man's wife is under the care of an eccentric and unconventional psychologist who uses innovative and theatrical techniques to breach the psychological blocks in his patients. When their daughter comes back from a visit with her mother and is covered with bruises and welts, the father attempts to bar his wife from seeing the daughter but faces resistance from the secretive psychologist. Meanwhile, the wife's mother and father are attacked by strangely deformed children, and the man begins to suspect a connection with the psychologist's methods.

Baš dobar i prilično bolestan film iako to ne izgleda prvih sat vremena... Završnica je preodlična s jako dobrom tematikom...

Ja sam ga gledao davno i ne sjećam se baš puno, no znam da je ko što je već rečeno: završnica predobra i da je bolestan film, možda ga pogledam skoro da se prisjetim bolje!

slažem se.ježio sam se na dosta scena.odličan film sa genijalnom pričom i glumcima i završetkom svaka čast.preporučam svima koji nisu gledali.10/10.

Prvih sat vremena bože sačuvaj, došlo mi je x puta da ugasim koliko je sporo prolazilo. No gledanje se isplatilo zbog završnice. Tih zadnjih 20 minuta se totalno razlikuje od prijašnjeg tona filma, ima baš dobrih scena. Samo zbog toga 6 / 10, iako priznajem da sam imao veća očekivanja.
