Nezavisni misteriozni horor od ko-producenata, scenarista i redatelja Mauricia Chernovetzkog i Marka Devendorfa, koji su s ovim filmom ostvarili redateljski debi. Film je snimljen na engleskom jeziku, u ko-produkciji Mađarske i Amerike. U glavnoj ulozi se pojavljuje poznati irski glumac Stephen Rea, Eleanor Tomlinson (koju ste imali prilike gledati u filmovima:The Illusionist, Alice in Wonderland,The Lost Future, a pojavit će se i u nadolazećem filmu Jack the Giant Killer) i Erika Marozsán (koju ste imali prilike gledati u Feast of Love, Ghetto, Gloomy Sunday i Sniper 2). Styria se bazire na noveli Carmilla od pisca Joseph Sheridan Le Fanua. Ova novela je utjecala i na rad Bram Stokera koji je kasnije napisao kratku priču "Dracula's Guest" koja se navodi kao izbrisano prvo poglavlje iz orginalnog Dracule. Napravljeno je i nekoliko filmova po ovoj noveli kao što su Vampyr, The Vampire Lovers, The Blood Spattered Bride, Lust for a Vampire, Blood and Roses, Crypt of the Vampire itd. Film je snimljen na raznim lokacijama u Mađarskoj, a trenutno se nalazi u zadnjoj fazi postprodukcije. Styriu su navodno snimali 5 godina zbog financijskih problema. Film bi se trebao pojaviti početkom 2013. u kino dvoranama, ali točan datum još nije poznat.

Lara (Eleanor Tomlinson) and her estranged father, Dr. Hill (Stephen Rea), travel behind the iron curtain to a decrepit castle outside the Hungarian town of Styria. In the nearby woods, Lara witnesses a violent car crash. Carmilla, (Julia Pietrucha), the lone survivor, crawls from the wreckage. When Lara hides this beautiful and mysterious stranger in the castle, the two start an intense and chaotic friendship. As their relationship deepens, crops whither, farm animals die, and the young women of Styria begin to go mad. When local girls are found dead from apparent suicides, Lara wonders if Carmilla is to blame or is there a darker secret behind the mass hysteria destroying the town.
