What ultimately makes these movies worth watching is the combination of a bad script and half-baked special effects. And "Kraken" has enough for ten movies. The killer squid somehow manages to rip the arms off of folks, and waves its floppy arms in ways that are both impossible and goofy.
The title of the movie was picked by visitors of Scifi.com, who chose it over a number of other possibilities. I'll never understand how they picked "Kraken: Tentacles Of The Deep" over "The Squid Stays in the Picture;" "Stop or My Squid Will Shoot" or "Killamari."
