Jack Brooks Monster Slayer 2 (2009 ?)
Director Jon Knautz revealed during an interview with Bloody Good Horror that a sequel to Jack Brooks Monster Slayer is in the works.
Knautz told the website: “We’re currently in script development, we haven’t actually spun out a draft yet, but we’re quite far into development. Far enough that there’s no turning back. We knew we didn’t have the money to do a full blown action/horror movie with part 1, we just didn’t have the money. So the gameplan was to make a movie about a guy who becomes a monster slayer, and then the action hits you at the end. With Part 2 now, we’re looking to raise quite a bit more money… people will get what they want in this one for sure, if they like the end of the first one.”

Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer 2:
Jack Brooks decides to retire from monster slaying, but not before taking one last job. Soon he finds himself helping stop a man with an evil plot to summon the demon Legion.
The first entry's director, Jon Knautz, and writer/star Trevor Matthews are currently in the scripting stage. The former stated in October that it was possible filming could begin as early as next summer. Interesting that the follow-up would pick up as Jack Brooks is "retiring" - which may indicate we're coming in at the end of his career - as the first film, by all accounts, served as an origin tale...
