neznam, mene prvi pogled na ono ćelavo stvorenje sa repom potpuno odbilo od filma. nisam ni sinopsis uspio pročitati

Ni mene isto baš ne privlači nešto posebno film, čak ni dobar glumac kao što je Adrien Brody ne pomaže mi baš da ga nešto posebno očekujem pogledati.

horror je nažalost žanr prepun razočaranja, ali već smo se naučili na to pa ono rijetko kada se pojavi kvalitetan film ostaneš duplo više poziitivnije iznenađen

@ DrugsBunny: Ja osobno očekujem ove godine The Ward, My Soul To Take, zadnji nastavak Saw, remake I Spit On Your Grave, itd... nadam se da će nešto od toga biti dobro.
@ HorrorHR: Slažem se vezano za razočaranja, naročito u ovom desetljeću mi se čini gdje nema puno pravih filmova u horror žanru da se može reći za njih da su odlični, maestralni, da će jednog dana biti smatrani kao klasici, itd...

Znam, ali ova godina mi se zasad čini puno lošija od ostalih.

Director Vincenzo Natali has a lot of fun with this, the old FRANKENSTEIN tale. He doesn't run away from his inspiration; after all, his characters' names are Elsa (as in Elsa Lanchester, Bride of Frankenstein) and Clive (Colin Clive, Dr. Victor Frankenstein). What's more interesting is what he does with the characters; it's on those terms that make Natali's vision startling and original. For most of its running time, SPLICE plays like the weirdest tale of family dysfunction you ever saw. Dealing with themes of maternal instinct, abandonment, puberty and parental responsibility, it's these deeper elements that give the film's off-the-wall 3rd act the emotional heft it needs to avoid becoming just a sordid freakshow. Things do get sordid though, and the more conservative audience isn't likely to go along for whole ride. But fans of the bizarre will have themselves a damn good time, especially when shit hits the fan, because Dren turns out to be the most frightening creature I've seen in years.

The other new release, Splice, spooked few with $7.4 million on nearly 2,600 screens at 2,450 venues, putting it closer to Pandorum than Daybreakers among recent creepy horror movies. Despite being the first theatrical creature feature in some time, Splice's start rated on the low end of the sub-genre with an estimated attendance in the same range as Bats and The Cave. The picture may have recalled movies like Species and Mimic, but enough time had passed for that not to be an issue. The advertising, though, did lay on thick the cliche "science-run-amok" angle. Without a larger scope, it can be tough for such movies to find significant theatrical audiences. In distributor Warner Bros.' exit polling, the turn-out was 58 percent male and 67 percent under 35 years old.
