Možda i najiščekivaniji horor ove godine od jednog od najboljih modernih horor redatelja.

Neki su već pogledali bili u kinu, test screeningu i evo reakcija. Tresem se jer lako moguće da ovo bude novi horor klasik.
Robert Eggers continues his impressive streak of crafting highly detailed and transportive period films with NOSFERATU, one of the most seductively macabre films ever made. Lily-Rose Depp gives every ounce of her body and soul to this eye-popping performance of tormented possession, while the overall portrayal of Count Orlok is so utterly compelling every moment he’s on screen that his presence lingers even when he’s not. Bill Skarsgård’s dark, alluring performance, the grotesque makeup, atmospheric sound design, Jarin Blaschke’s spellbinding cinematography & Robin Carolan’s haunting score all come together to reimagine a gothic classic, culminating in a breathtaking final shot that sent chills through my body as I left the theater. I cannot wait to succumb to the darkness all over again.
Loved it tbh, proper old-school horror that’s so handsomely built. Doesn’t need to be self-aware or cynical to be scary. Lily-Rose Depp is pretty amazing.
gods good gross gift to this earth. nonstop awesome shit from start to finish; just an absolute gnarled ass ripper of a film. moves like a bullet train and every actor is bringing their A game; makes sense that Lily-Rose Depp excels at being the thrall of a vicious, bloodsucking demon, just look at her work on The Idol !
I think I still might prefer the experimental phantasmagoria of the FFC version of this story, but this one feels like an immaculately crafted gothic object you can hold in your hand; they’re both more than worthy.
Robert Eggers does not miss. Nosferatu is a deviously demented descent into the macabre, an impeccably crafted horror atmosphere cloaked in candlelight and shadows. Stunning cinematography, excellent cast, terrifying visuals and haunting score, it is impossible not to succumb to the darkness. Also I think it's time to start taking Lily Rose-Depp seriously.
the children yearn for horny, gothic horror, and robert eggers decided to deliver it! everything about this was truly stunning from start to finish. this may be my favorite egger’s film yet, and i can’t wait to rewatch when it’s officially out for the holidays. i also have to say that i was unfamiliar with lily-rose’s game because WOW!!!
Robert Eggers delivers yet another spine-chilling masterpiece with Nosferatu, a gothic symphony that’s equal parts haunting and heartbreakingly beautiful. This isn’t just a movie—it’s a dark, candlelit love letter to old-school horror. Think Dracula meets Dickens, sprinkled with Willem Dafoe's sly comedic touches as the world’s most eccentric vampire hunter.
A bit more traditional in its structure than I was expecting but dear Lord does Eggers go hard with what’s here. Exceptional work all around, but Lily-Rose Depp’s dedication to the physicality of her role is something to behold.

There’s one particular shot where you just know Willem Dafoe was thinking “man, this is the shit I live for.”
PUT THIS IN THE BEST PICTURE ACTRESS SUPPORTING ACTOR CONVERSATIONS RIGHT NOW
the master of folktale cinema.
nosferatu feels like eggers has reached his final form. we’re dropped into a world that’s enveloped by a shadow of a waking nightmare.
lily rose depp is staggering.
skarsgard unreal / unrecognizable
dafoe bellowing in eggers dialogue is truly a gift.
every shot every frame ever so
A lavish, terrifying journey that suffocates your heart and forces you to stare into the face of evil. Eggars takes the dread of The VVitch, the disorientation of The Lighthouse, and the spectacle of The Northman to forge a movie that speaks to the buried fears within the human psyche.
Ljudi, dobili smo novi horor klasik pripremite se :supz:

Omajgad izašle prve recenzije sa rottena, ima 96% i 8.1/10 ocjenu od strane 46 kritičara ajme meni tresem se od uzbuđenja
On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 95% of 42 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 8.1/10.[28] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 81 out of 100, based on 22 critics, indicating "universal acclaim".[29]

The Hollywood Reporter's David Rooney praised the direction, screenplay, and performances calling the film "exciting, repulsive and beautiful," and added that "It’s thrilling to experience a movie so assured in the way it builds and sustains fear, so hypnotically scary as it grabs you by the throat and never lets go."[30] Indiewire's David Ehrlich similarly praised the direction and singled out Depp's performance before stating that "like all of Eggers’ films, of which “Nosferatu" is the richest and most fully realized, it draws a spellbinding power from the friction it finds between historical social mores and the eternal human thirsts they exist to keep in check."
