PLOT - Six troubled high school students and their chaperon, an optimistic youth ministries Pastor, return from an outdoor character building retreat in the mountains. During a raging storm, their bus crashes, hopelessly stranding them in the middle of the Trucker's Triangle, a forgotten locus of consummate evil in the middle of nowhere. The hapless group seeks shelter for the night in a seemingly abandoned trailer park they find down the road. However, when the sun sets, it's not refuge they find. Instead, terror finds them in the form of Norma, a damned redneck reaper with a killer body who dispenses vengeance and death aided by her cursed companions, a bloodthirsty brood of Undead trailer trash.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet the new wave of torture porn, for Trailer Park of Terror makes Saw and Hostel look like Disney films. The movie mixes in an unnatural dose of offensive humor with the some what nausating horror shown throughout the entire film, and even though the humor proves to be quite inappropriate and lewd at times considering some of the film's controversial subject matter, it still makes the audience chuckle afterwards.

The viewers get praying mantis-like decapitations, ripped out spines, torn off limbs, and characters forced by zombies to participate in amateur porn and snuff films. The fact that this film is able to meet this level of sadism and is still able to be fun to watch, proves the writer and director have a higher level of ingenuity so rarely seen from indie horror filmmakers these days.

Unlike most zombie horror films I have seen lately, Trailer Park of Terror did not leave a bad taste of rotting flesh in my mouth. This highly charged and fast-paced crowd pleaser is destined to acquire cult classic status amongst horror fans. Bring on the sequel!!
