Najnoviji triler poznatog i hvaljenog Korejskog redatelja Ji-woon Kima, autora filmova kao što su "A Tale of Two Sisters", "The Good, the Bad, the Weird" i "A Bittersweet Life". Glavne uloge igraju dve velike Korejske zvijezde, Kimov najdraži "kućni" glumac Byung-hun Lee s kojim je već dva puta surađivao (spomenuti "The Good, the Bad, the Weird" i "A Bittersweet Life"), te "Oldboy" him self, Min-sik Choi, i to nakon dvogodišnje glumačke pauze. Korejska premijera filma je predviđena za ovo ljeto.

A hard-boiled thriller, I Saw The Devil stars Choi Min-sik (Oldboy) as a psychopathic serial killer up against Lee Byung-hun (G.I. Joe: The Rise Of The Cobra) as a special agent whose fiancée becomes one of his victims. Lee’s cool-headed and intelligent character in turn becomes a monster in order to avenge the killing.

Radnja na koju redovito svršavam, redatelj koji je majstor i jedan od najdražih mi, isto vridi i za glumce- materijal za drkicu.

Another major deal has been made straight out of the Toronto International Film Festival as Magnet Releasing, genre arm of Magnolia Pictures announced today that it has acquired North American rights to Kim Jeewoons (The Good, The Bad and The Weird, A Tale of Two Sisters) absolutely astounding I Saw the Devil! We confirmed they'll be releasing the director's personal cut! Watch got a review soon. Shockingly violent and stunningly accomplished, I Saw the Devil transcends the police procedural, pushing the boundaries of extreme Asian cinema in ways that will surprise and thrill fans of the genre.

I Saw the Devil - 7/10
Mislim da je ovo jedan od onih filmova koje moram pogledat za par godina da bi u potpunosti shvatio :lol:
Prvih i zadnjih 10 minuta su čisto savršenstvo a ostatkom nisam oduševljen.
Bittersweet Life mi i dalje ostaje vrh.

Slučajno sam skinuo film i onda pogledam ko glumi i ko sve stoji iza ovoga.
Malo sam razočaran što sam jedva našao ovaj topic, jer dajem bubrege da je film jebeno dobar.
Večeras se sve otkazuje, 2 pakle pljuga, nešto za klopu i nema treptanja do odjavnog rola.
